The Best Recipes I Found On The Internet This Week

There are so many fabulous foodies in this world I just couldn’t help but share the goodness! Each week I am going to try my hardest to share my favorite recipes I found the internet so that you can enjoy them too. They’ll mostly be kosher and paleo-ish and always delicious.

Parve/Vegan Buttery Biscuits

Nothing screams winter more than biscuit covered in butter and jam, the problem? Dairy isn’t my friend so when I found Tory Avey’s dairy-free biscuit recipe my stomach smiled.

Paleo Casserole with Turkey, Peppers, and Zucchini

Again, it was Arctic feeling outside and I wanted nothing more than a delicious meal to warm me inside and out. After a deep google search for paleo casserole, I found this bad boy and whipped it up super quick. Bae said it was the best thing he ate all month. #winning

Asparagus with Lemon Butter

I usually only saute my asparagus but for Shabbat, I was looking for a healthier option. The first recipe to pop up on Google was Martha Stewart and we all know she knows what she’s doing. I switched out the dairy butter for Earth balance and served it with chicken. It’s even good eaten cold the next day!

Parve/Non-Dairy Sugar Cookies

Margarine and I became very close this week, which is probably why I gained 3 pounds, but who is counting. There is no better way to celebrate Hanukkah than by baking, decorating and eating dreidel shaped sugar cookies. This recipe is the bomb dot com. I have even been known to only make the dough and then eat a little every night, shh.
